Ramdas Padhye

Son of pioneer Indian ventriloquist Y.K. Padhye, Ramdas Padhye is a renowned Indian ventriloquist, puppeteer and puppet-maker, who has performed in India and abroad for over 40 years — starting with his first show, when he was only eight. Since then, he has notched up a staggering 9,000 shows over the years, of which some are solo, some are with wife and Marathi actress and singer Aparna, and a few are with his son Satyajit, who is a highly accomplished international puppeteer in his own right. Ramdas Padhye mostly caters to kids' birthdays and major public shows.
