#AmbaniBash – 3 Stunning Bridesmaids Inspiration by Anamika Khanna

Last night, the most prominent names of the industry attended Mukesh Ambani’s bash for his sister, Nina Kothari’s daughter, Nayantara Kothari, kickstarting her pre-wedding functions at the Antilia in Mumbai.

As soon as you think about the ‘Ambanis’, the words grand, extravagant, opulence, larger than life, etc., come to mind and well, the Ambanis never disappoint! Nina Kothari’s daughter, Nayantara Kothari is set to get married to KK Birla’s grandson, Shamit Bhartia. And to honour this beautiful relationship, the family threw a lavish party for the lovely bride-to-be.

While the party was attended by the who’s who of Bollywood, the three leading ladies of the Ambani household stole the show and how! Isha Ambani Piramal, Shloka Akash Ambani and Radhika Merchant wore stunning creations designed by the talented Anamika Khanna, their outfits were unconventional and regal.

And these outfits were a refreshing change, very unlike the heavy-duty designer ensembles they are generally seen wearing. These obviously are a great addition to one’s wedding wardrobe but they are perfect for bridesmaids too!

Isha Ambani Piramal

The lovely daughter of Nita and Mukesh Ambani, Isha wore off-white floral sharara pants and teamed it with a matching dupatta, draped elegantly over her shoulder. She was also seen sporting a matching cropped jacket in the pictures that she chose to skip while attending the actual function. She completed her look with stunning layered emerald beads.

Shloka Akash Ambani

The lovely Ambani bahu chose a gorgeous lavender outfit – a cut-work crop top and lehenga skirt with a long jacket of the same hue. While the lehenga skirt was sans any embellishment, the crop and the jacket were intricately-designed in Anamika’s signature floral motifs and embroidery. 

Emeralds seemed to be a common choice for Isha and Shloka, who completed their looks with stunning emerald-studded jewellery pieces.

Radhika Merchant

While on the other hand, combining these two looks, Anant Ambani’s lady love, Radhika Merchant, wore a gorgeous red saree with a floral, golden border and paired it with an embroidered cape. She completed her look with beautiful diamond jewellery.
