5 Ways in which Hum Aapke Hain Kaun Changed the Face of Indian Weddings

On this day, 25 years ago the iconic movie Hum Aapke Hain Kaun was released in the theatres. And just like that, the face of Indian weddings changed overnight! Tuffy became a household name while Madhuri Dixit and Salman Khan further cemented their place in Bollywood. The film ran in the theatres for almost 50 weeks! So what was it about the movie that created such a stir? Prem’s shy demeanour coupled with Nisha’s playful nature changed the way people viewed romance. It was no longer a lewd thing to hide.
