Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding is a close-knit affair with only a handful of celebrities (mostly performers) in attendance. The guest count being 40 to be exact.

Each guest who arrived for Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s wedding was personally received by the couple and found handwritten notes from the bride-to-be. Knowing that Deepika likes treating near and dear ones with personalised gestures, it really comes as no surprise.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh kicked off their wedding festivities with a grand engagement ceremony on Tuesday night. During which Ranveer Singh went down on his knees asking for Deepika Padukone’s hand. *awwwww* And after the engagement rings were exchanged, Ranveer Singh gave an emotional speech and Deepika Padukone started crying. *can it literally get better than this?*

“The power couple were at their happiest selves. It so happened that while Deepika was getting her mehendi done, Ranveer had taken the duty of feeding her. But on one condition; Ranveer demanded that she kisses him and only then he will give her food. Deepika was also no less.
