This Victoria’s Secret model had a gorgeous beach wedding and the pictures will keep you swooning!

Congratulations to this happy couple – Shanina Shaik and Gregory “DJ Ruckus” Andrews who just got hitched! While Shahina is a Victoria’s Secret supermodel, Greg is an in-demand DJ and with their wedding pictures all I can say is that they make one hell-of-a stunning couple!

They tied the knot this weekend on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas and their wedding pictures will keep you swooning for days. Scroll down to have a look:

How they first met:

The duo first first met in 2015, when Shanina found herself stood up by her girlfriends during Coachella. “Just before I was going to leave, Greg noticed that I was alone and came over to speak with me,” she recalls.

“We had the most wonderful conversation.”

From that moment on, she knew he was ‘the one’. Greg was sure, too, and they dated for just eight months before he finally popped the question!

The proposal story:

To propose, Greg planned a tropical Christmas vacation with Shanina and her mother at his family’s place in the Bahamas. The day after the holiday, he organized an impromptu beach trip with Shanina and his cousin—or so she thought! Greg’s cousin, of course, never showed up, and he instead popped the question. “He proposed with not one but two Lorraine Schwartz rings,” she says. “He asked me to choose my favorite ring, and, unfortunately, I could only choose one!”

The wedding:

After an engagement like that, it’s no surprise that Shanina and Greg decided to marry in the Bahamas. In fact, they decided to say “I do” on the exact stretch of sand where they got engaged.

“I’ve always dreamt of marrying on the beach,” says the bride, “Our wedding reflected our personal style (simple and elegant) with the added touch of a bohemian vibe as well”.

The wedding gown:

Ralph and Russo had offered to make Shahina’s wedding gown, “ I wanted it to be simple, bohemian, and elegant. I love a boho style and I wanted to give it a little twist by incorporating lace.” The result? A gorgeous off-the-shoulder creation featuring delicate lace and sheer fabric!

The groom looked dapper in a classic tux by Tom Ford.

He gave his groomsmen – a bottle of Don Julio before they walked down the aisle. *so cool*

The Guests:

For guests, the dress code called for neutrals that complemented the colors in the wedding scheme. “We weren’t sure if our guests would go with the theme and tones that we recommended, but we were so pleased when we saw the result,” says Shanina. “Everyone looked so dapper!”

The reception:

There were fairy lights and lanterns setting the right mood while a Bahamian band led the guests onto the dance floor after dinner. “As a surprise for our guests, we got DJ Rev Run to perform while everyone danced throughout the night.”

Shahina used this as her cue to change into her second gown of the night: a custom-made look by her friend Michael Costello. “I wanted to wear a dress that was very flowy and easy to move in. I knew we were going to dance the night away” she said.

With the pictures coming to an end, I am still going to take some time to get over this absolutely beautiful wedding!
