Sharath & Divya Mumbai : Tasteful South-Indian Wedding with Tollywood Flavour

Sharath & Divya Mumbai : Tasteful South-Indian Wedding with Tollywood Flavour

DIY décor, uber filmy friends and all the Tollywood sass – Divya and Sharath’s wedding made us wish we were there in reality!

With elegantly-decorated vedi mandap and attires that made them look like a quintessential South-Indian couple, three things were the defining point of this wedding. The raw happiness on everyones faces, super filmy friends and a BIG family which shared their joy. Now, what else do you really need to make your wedding a memorable affair?!

They had a Rose + Sangeet Ceremony few days before the wedding with décor that was oh-so-earthy and DIY! What more could we ask for? Glass bottles wrapped in string with a single marigold flower and a fresh green leaf in it, suspended beautifully alongside white mesh balls strung with fairy lights and the all-floral photobooth frame (which was undoubtedly our favourite) After lots of dancing and South-Indian style drama – Sharath and Divya took off on a bike decorated fully with bright marigold flowers and were ready for the final step – THE WEDDING!

An all gold, green and white Vedi mandap decorated with Tube Roses in mesh style with stunning floral hangings and other adornments set the perfect tone for Divya and Sharath’s union. Dressed in a blush pink pure kanjivaram silk saree with gorgeous gold weaves, this bride looked absolutely mesmerising. This saree coupled with her temple and coin jewellery only added to the glow that she already exuded. Yadhu Photography captured every element of this wedding just beautifully – whether it was the bride’s jewellery, the décor at the wedding or post-wedding mugshots; this talented team kept it quirky yet classy.
