Kiran & Harneet Delhi : Harneet and Kiran’s Bollywood love story will make you say ‘aww’!

Harneet and Kiran recently tied the knot in an ethereal ceremony held at Delhi. They share a quintessential love story with hints of Bollywood hidden between the lines!

The Love Story…

Kiran first laid his eyes on Harneet at a function in London. A warm feeling spread across his chest and he knew that he wouldn’t rest until he got a chance to talk to this beauty! He asked his parents to talk to Harneet’s parents in order to fix a meeting between them. Harneet’s parents called her about the prospective groom but she lied to them and told them she was on her way to Bristol. The chivalrous man that he is, Kiran stalled his plans to go back to Moscow and cancelled his tickets. Harneet realised there is no way out so she agreed to meet him. Harneet was not ready to marry so she tried to avoid it as much as she could during their first meeting. But something changed when they met for the second time. They sat and talked for 5 hours straight, without realising about the time spent in each other’s company! Harneet realised if she can sit and talk to a stranger for 5 hours, it is definitely a sign! Soon they got engaged and a beautiful wedding followed.

The Wedding Festivities…

The wedding celebrations took place in Harneet’s hometown, Delhi. The families hosted a splendid wedding and left no stone unturned to make it a memorable one!

The Engagement Ceremony

The celebrations kicked off with a glamorous engagement ceremony. Harneet looked stunning in a lilac lehenga. Her smokey makeup helped to highlight her features perfectly. Kiran wore a chocolate brown bandhgala and complimented her light lilac gown. Red floral decor presided the night full of dancing and fun!

The Mehendi Ceremony

The engagement ceremony was followed by the mehendi ceremony. Harneet sat under a genda phool canopy in a peach ensemble. Her family wore similar colours throughout the celebrations! We loved Harneet’s floral choker necklace!

The Wedding

On a blissful spring morning in a serene Gurudwara in Delhi, a young couple in love were all geared up to tie the knot. Harneet’s dusty ivory anarkali was complemented with a red dupatta. Kiran wore a heavy maroon velvet and golden sherwani, unlike any other that we have ever seen! The wedding ceremony was followed by an ornate reception.
