The world knows that we Indians hold the colour red very dear to our hearts. The shade of love and passion, it is considered holy and often associated with brides. On the third day of Navratri, Goddess Durga dons a red saree and is worshipped as Kushmanda. Maa Kushmanda represents passion, auspiciousness and of course, anger. Ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee once said that there is a shade of red meant for every Indian woman. Where is the lie?
