Pranal & Palak Jaisalmer : An Exquisite Jaisalmer Wedding that Won Our Hearts!

Pranal & Palak Jaisalmer : An Exquisite Jaisalmer Wedding that Won Our Hearts!

Seldom do we come across a wedding that sets goals in each and every aspect. Palak and Pranal’s wedding fits the description! From offbeat pre-wedding functions to the much thought after mandap, this wedding covered it all.

About the Couple

A chance encounter that led to love, Palak and Pranal have quite a story to flaunt. The two were introduced to each other by Palak’s aunt when she was visiting her. Pranal resides in the same society as Palak. They got talking and there is no looking back ever since!

The Wedding Festivities

Palak was involved in the entire wedding planning since day 1. She put her heart and soul into it, making sure everything turns out as spectacular as she has dreamed. Safe to say, her wedding was much more than that!

Holi

Who thinks of a Holi party in the cold month of January? While others were skeptical, the couple were sure that they want to go ahead with their plan. Covered from head to toe in gulal, their friends and family had the time of their lives. They aptly named this event as ‘Rann ki Holi’. The bright pink, yellow and blue decor added to the lively afternoon.

The Sangeet Ceremony

Always wanting to do things differently, Palak ensured that her sangeet hits the mark. They hosted the sangeet at Marriott Resort & Spa and  chose the centre courtyard as the stage. This meant that their guests got a 360 degree view of the entire place! A carousel bar, tents, funky seating and a deep colour palette set the evening for the glamorous carnival.

The Wedding

Dressed in a pastel pink Sabyasachi lehenga, Palak was a sight to look at her! Her gorgeous raani haar was instantly grabbing eyeballs. Pranal’s ivory sherwani complemented her subtle lehenga, but his yellow safa was the real winner here. It was the right pop of colour! Just like everything about their wedding, their mandap was also quite unique. It is called ‘bawdi’, an amphitheatre style seating which is very similar to the Banaras ghats. Surreal, isn’t it?
