Kapil & Vanshika Others : An Aquatic, Mystical and A Musical Wedding

Kapil and Vanshika got away from the hubbub of the crowded city and got married in the peaceful Aamby Valley City, situated in Lonavala. Their wedding was star-strucked with celebrity singers like Salim Merchant and Shalmali Kholgade performing exclusively for the couple.

The chosen venue was multi-dimensional and had different areas for each functions. A small pre-wedding party was thrown by the pool with a separate party zone for all the attendees. The hippie décor at the entrance had strings of paper boats dangling in the left and lovely drapes in the right. The party arena had a white and purple theme with matching balloon danglers hanging from the roof. Riding on an elephant the groom made a Maharaja-style entry for the Baraat Ceremony. With fireworks in the background, the Varamala Ceremony happened on an elevated platform that was set up right in middle of the lake. The tented mandap for the Saat Pheras was a recreation of the Benaras Ghat and looked equally serene. Multi-colour mattresses with bolsters constituted the seating arrangement for the guests at the ceremony.

With special performances, incredible acts and remarkable lightings, the Sangeet Ceremony was literally transformed into a musical concert. Kapil wore a super cool Indo-Western outfit and Vanshika was dressed in a gorgeous lehenga. The velvet accents complimented beautifully on both of their outfits.
