Our experience with Neha John Photography has been deeply disappointing, financially damaging, and mentally exhausting. We booked her services for our wedding and paid a substantial advance based on prior work we had seen within our friend circle. After covering our engagement ceremony in July 2024, communication from her side became extremely irregular, and despite repeated calls, messages, and follow-ups over an extended period, we did not receive the deliverables from that event. As we tried to understand the situation, we came across multiple public reviews from other clients describing experiences similar to ours, including advance payments being taken, lack of communication, delayed or undelivered work, and unfulfilled refund assurances. Reading those accounts made us realise that our experience may not have been an isolated one. Due to the continued non-responsiveness and uncertainty surrounding both deliverables and timelines, we cancelled the engagement of services. She acknowledged the cancellation and agreed to refund our advance amount. However, despite repeated assurances over a long period of time, the refund has still not been made. We have since issued a formal legal notice, the receipt of which has been acknowledged, and have also filed a police complaint. The matter is now being pursued through appropriate legal channels. I am posting this review to document our personal experience and to caution prospective clients who may be considering her services to exercise extreme diligence and not rely solely on past reputation or social media presence. I cant recommend Neha John enough! I hired her as a surprise gift for my wifey, knowing she would handle the brides side perfectly. Having a woman capture those getting-ready shots and portraits is so important; it creates a comfortable atmosphere and allows for genuine moments. Neha was fully on board with focusing on the candid shots, respecting our choice not to have her cover the entire wedding, and she coordinated seamlessly with our other vendors. On the big day, she blended in beautifully, capturing heartfelt moments without being intrusive. Her work is stunningeach photo tells a story. Neha delivered our photos ahead of schedule, beautifully edited. If you want someone to capture authentic moments, Neha is the perfect choice! Were so grateful for the memories she created for us. I was happy to have Neha as my photographer in wedding, she clicked nice pictures too. However, it's been 3 plus years to my wedding and she hasn't sent me my wedding album yet. She kept pushing the delay on us by saying that we need to choose all the pics. Inspite of requesting her to use her professional skills to select good images and make a draft, she goofed up even in that and printed a pathetic album. I have no good photos or videos to show the people from my album. It was a very bad experience with Neha. Only when I warned her for a legal action, she then started working on the album and videos after 2 years of my wedding. Will not recommend at all. Call her if you want to ruin your memories!
