All that’s happening at Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Wedding Venue at Lake Como, Italy!

With only a couple of hours left for the much awaited wedding of the year of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone my excitement has definitely soared to dizzying heights. And while #DeepVeer are all set to tie the knot at the Villa del Balbianello at Lake Como in Italy, I am here crying happy tears and dream gatecrashing it too! *can’t legit keep calm*

And here’s bringing to you all the exclusive details:

The pre-wedding ceremony last night:

Ranveer Singh’s stylist Nitasha Gaurav, who too can’t keep calm, took to her Twitter wrote, “No pictures but it was love personified to see them together today. Couldn’t stop my tears, but these were tears of happiness and so I hope they never do. #DeepVeerKiShaadi #ranveerkishaadi #foreverlove”. Now, this has given a heads up that the wedding fun has already begun.

The mehendi and sangeet today:

Harshdeep Kaur has dropped various hints of attending the grand event of Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding. She took to her official Instagram handle and shared an in-flight snap along with a cryptic caption that read, “Off to a very special place for an even more special occasion. Arrivederci.” Harshdeep will reportedly sing some of her most-loved songs of all times including Kabira and Dilbaro and enthrall Deepika and Ranveer’s close friends and family members.

A picture of her fellow musicians – Sanjoy Das, Bobby Pathak and Firoz Khan has also gone viral on the internet as the team is speculated to perform at Deepveer’s sangeet and mehendi ceremony today, on November 13. The report also states that both Deepika and Ranveer will dance to each other’s hit tracks including songs from films like Band Baaja Baaraat and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani. *awwwwww*

The Wedding preparations:

The preparations for the #deepveer wedding are on in full swing and twelve florists were specially flown in from Florence to decorate Villa del Balbianello, reports India Today.

Incidentally, the couple and their families are not staying at the villa, but a luxury resort on the east side of Lake Como, in the pretty village of Blevio. The resort, which has been fully booked for the wedding, is also being decked up by the florists.

The resort is about 40-45 minutes away from the wedding by road, and according to sources, is a shorter commute if you travel by boat. Also, the resort has 75 rooms and also has four restaurants and bars, including an al fresco terrace overlooking the lake, four conference rooms, a spa, indoor swimming pool, outdoor floating pool on the lake and is surrounded by a luxuriant botanic park over an area of approximately 26,000 square metres.

The average cost of a room at the luxury property is 400 euros (around Rs 33,000). Considering that it has 75 rooms, Ranveer and Deepika are shelling out a whopping Rs 24,75,000 per day. For a week, they would be spending Rs 1,73,25,000.

Also, chefs from Switzerland have been flown in to join the catering team for desserts and the wedding cake.

No gifts for the couple:

A source told Mid-day, “Ranveer and Deepika are committed to the cause and want to involve their guests in the act of kindness.”

B-Town’s royal couple have requested their guests to send cheques to Deepika’s charity The Live Love Laugh Foundation instead. *how thoughtful*
