A wedding has to be a grand celebration or nothing, right? Wrong. The four-month-long lockdown has taught us different and how! Weddings in India were always a grand affair but recently, given the pandemic situation and guest-list limitations, weddings are now simpler and smaller. This holds true even for celebrity weddings.
As soon as the term celebrity wedding is mentioned, we expect the whole shebang, right? Lights, camera, action! Uff… but like every other couple who plans on getting married during the lockdown, Tollywood actor Nithiin and his fiancé Shalini, decided to go ahead for a simple engagement ceremony to seal the deal.
Nithiin and his lady love Shalini Kandukuri are rumoured to have been dating for many years now and were initially planning a grand destination wedding in Dubai. However, given the situation, they have now opted for an intimate ceremony.

Seen at the ceremony attended by close family members on both sides, the celebrity couple looked resplendent in traditional avatars.
While Nithiin chose to wear a white kurta-pyjama set, his fiancé Shalini looked stunning in a red Benarasi saree with embroidered border. The bride-to-be completed her looked with a stunning diamond choker with rubies and matching earrings. Not to miss her over-the-top diamond and emerald studded kamarbandh! She kept her overall look simple with natural flawless makeup and braided hair.
And this is not all – the beautiful lady wore a beautiful baby pink lehenga in brocade with an equally gorgeous diamond set.
