Double Destination Wedding held at Jaypee Resorts, Mussoorie

4 people. 2 Weddings. 3 days full of love, 3628 Selfies taken and endless amounts of dancing – this double destination wedding had us feeling all kinds of happy. Jaypee Resorts Mussoorie, witnessed two weddings of brothers where Navin got married to his ladylove Diksha and Pravin to Anushree. The three day destination wedding affair had double the amounts of everything one witnesses at an Indian wedding – whether it was the pind-punjabi theme lunch, the wedding or the simple on-location couple photoshoot, with two brothers getting married back to back, we were sure this celebration would be one crazy rollercoaster!

Pre Wedding Shoots

Destination Wedding at Jaypee Resort Mussoorie

The double destination wedding celebration began on a bright beautiful note with an on-location shoots with both the couples. ShutterInk photography rightly captures the cheesy love-filled photos with picturesque backgrounds and brilliant use of angles! We adore the way he used the backdrop of clear blue skies and grand mountains along with different spaces at the resort to make their shoot so, so inspirational!

Ring Ceremony

Gold and white drapes were rightly used for the ring ceremony of Navin & Diksha,as well as Anushree & Pravin. This evening was filled with warmth and overflowing emotions. Both the ladies stunned in gorgeous diamond jewellery that left us mesmerized! But what we adore most was definitely Navin’s blush pink jodhpuri jacket with a weaved dhoti to match #groomsoutfitgoals right here!

Punjabi Themed Lunch

When the Punjabi’s do it – they do it in style! The next day brought in with it the super fun Punjabi themed lunch with lots of naach-gaana! The first sight of the gendha phool laid in a paisley pattern and (everyone’s latest fad) the flower laden rickshaw – we knew that this would be one heck of a Big Fat Indian celebration! With a backdrop of that grand mountain range and profession Punjabi dancers both the couples along with their families set out for a laughter-filled afternoon that would be talked about for generations to come!

Navin and Diksha

The elder brother Navin, was first one up to tie the knot with his beloved Diksha. The ceremony was intimate and simple with full focus on the love. Navin looked dapper dressed in a chevron textured ivory sherwani while the gorgeous bride, Diksha went for the classic red and gold lehenga. Our absolute favourite bit from this wedding was definitely the phool-jadi varmala – doing the first ritual amongst sparkly lights all around? Absolutely magical!

Pravin and Anushree

The next evening, it was time for wedding no 2! Pravin and Anushree’s chic outfits and contemporary style mixed with the little traditional touches brought out a look that was oh-so-stunning! Brother no. 2 AKA Pravin wore a also wore a textured ivory sherwani, similar to that of Navin’s but instead, this dapper groom went for an Aztec style and all of us were clean bowled! Anushree too played out her contemporary bride cards brilliantly in her lehenga made in a combination of aqua, gold and red (Major props to you, girl!)

We can only imagine the amount of fun this 3 day destination wedding at Jaypee resort mussoorie would have brought out. The endless chatter of aunty-ji’s, the picturesque instagrams of mountains, the delicious food, so much happiness and two new beautiful beginnings!
