Nikesh & Priyanka Anand : Eloquent outfits and understated decor- this couple got hitched a la mode!

About the couple

Priyanka and Nikesh were family friends all their lives, but cupid struck in 2016! It was only when Nikesh felt ‘Kyun naa hum iss dosti ko rishte daari mein badal de,’ that they actually started dating.

For Priyanka, Nikesh is a thorough gentleman. His attention to detail, small heart-touching gestures, and his unconditional love were enough to sweep her off her feet! His constant support and caring nature made Priyanka fall in love with him.

Proposal

Ironically, Nikesh proposed to Priyanka only after she agreed to marry him. He flew all the way to Boston and surprised her at her apartment. It was private, intimate, and exactly how she wanted it to be.

The Wedding Festivities

Working by the day and planning by night- this is exactly how Priyanka actually managed to successfully plan her wedding ceremony. Being a perfectionist, Priyanka paid close attention to every minor detail.

Sangeet

For the sangeet ceremony, the bride wore a beautiful shimmery gold lehenga, while the groom donned a dark blue bandhgala sherwani. The overall decor was rustic and it being an outdoor function, the decor looked all the more attractive!

Haldi

Nikesh wore a simple kurta chudidaar, while Priyanka was dressed in a ochre-yellow elegant saree, going with the yellow theme! The ceremony saw a whole lot of fun, masti and lots of haldi being smeared on the bride and groom’s faces.

Wedding

This was a rather intimate and private affair. The bride looked like a million bucks in her red lehenga with heavy gold embellishments. She paired this with gold and emerald green jewellery. The groom stuck to keeping it subtle by wearing a beige bandhgala sherwani with printed motifs and a matching safa.
