Vinamra & Roop Ludhiana : When Roop met Vinamra!

Here’s a super cute couple who’s love story and the journey to tying the matrimonial knot is surely going to tug at your heartstrings! So here is Ms Roop aka Rupinder (yes, just like Jab We Met!) cute as a button and Mr Vinamra, just like his name, sweet and sensitive!   

Their love story began at work – they both were working at the same IT organisation. And Roop feel for him! “He has this magnetic nature and I felt a pull towards him,” says Roop. Over time she realised he was the guy for her and they both were a perfect fit as a couple. In fact, unlike other love stories of our times, there was no real proposal or anything as they both felt they were right for each other. 

Soon they decided to tie the knot! To start her wedding planning, Roop started browsing various wedding websites, including Weddingz.in for ideas and inspiration. She made extensive lists before she stepped out to shop. And given that she belonged to Ludhiana and Vinamra’s family was based in Delhi, she planned her shopping across these two cities.  

The Wedding

The wedding was hosted in Ludhiana at Prithvi Resorts and the engagement ceremony happened at the Hotel Kohinoor Palace. 

The festivities started with a mehendi ceremony where Roop wore a cute leaf green lehenga skirt and blouse. For her engagement, she turned princess in a beautiful baby pink gown with silver foil work. As the couple had no proper proposal before, they proposed to each other. 

Roop’s haldi and choora ceremony were conducted at home among family members with much fanfare. She wore a simple yellow salwar-suit and looked like the perfect Punjabi kudi! 

For her big day, she wore a stunning red lehenga. Her polki jewellery with emerald drops enhanced her entire wedding look.

“One thing that I kept in mind was that I wanted to look the best on my big day and photography should be the best one as I love being photographed.” – Roop. Therefore, they went ahead and booked Kulwant Mararr Photography. “I had been following this guy’s page from a year and that photographer was the only thing that was constant in my mind and therefore, I wanted him for my wedding. Luckily he and his team were available on my wedding day. And I got the best pictures to cherish for my whole life.”
