Abhishek & Sanchita Agra : This coordinated couple’s wedding with Taj Mahal as the backdrop was nothing short of a fairytale!
Two lovers, two cultures and two wedding functions!
Sanchita, the Punjabi bride and Abhishek, the Kannadiga groom tied the knot in royal-style at the city which boasts of its greatest symbol of love-Taj Mahal! The cross-cultural wedding was an interesting mix of flavours and ceremonies and the couple were a tad bit too adorable to handle!!
About the couple..
The start to this love story was rather casual and the two never envisioned they would go so far on this journey of love!
Sanchita met Abhishek at a mutual friend’s party, Abhishek instantly grew fond of her and asked her for her number. This was of course just the beginning…
Love blossomed between the two gradually- over dinners, dates and movies! As time passed and they got to know each other better, their relationship grew stronger and they came closer. The two pillars on which their relationship primarily rested was peace and stability, which they found in each other’s company.
Over a period of time, they organically came together and decided to tie the knot.
The Wedding..
The north meets south wedding was the highlight for all the guests. The interesting amalgamation of cultures, traditions and rituals, won over everyone’s hearts!
Sanchita and Abhishek had a host of functions and all of them swooned us over to a whole new level! The vibrant, super chilled-out afternoon mehendi was quite a delight and so was the blingy and rocking sangeet and cocktails ceremony.
The bride and groom decided on having two wedding functions, one a traditional North Indian and the other a typical South Indian ceremony and according to them, this was the best decision ever! Afterall, who wouldn’t want to marry the love of their life twice, right?
Apart from these ceremonies, they had a stunning and breathtaking photoshoot at the Taj Mahal, which simply blew our minds away. The bride and groom looked nothing less than royalty and it definitely set the photoshoot bar high. It was mesmerizing and absolutely surreal!
The couple wanted to ditch formalities and ensure that the wedding was a private and intimate affair with around 100 guests, including only close family and friends.
The wedding planning process especially for Sanchita was no mean feat! Sanchita was residing in Bengaluru, while her parents are settled in Gurugram. She being keen on choosing Delhi to shop made it imperative for her to travel back and forth from Bengaluru to Delhi, everytime she had to do outfit trials or meet the decorators, afterall it wasn’t possible to arrange everything for her virtually. The bride gives all the credit of her wedding planning to her parents, who did a fab job in bringing everything together and making life easier for her, especially because she was juggling work and planning at the same time.
