Even if you haven’t taken into account this possibility, it’s best to be prepared for it. If your menstruation cycle is regular and you work like a clock then good for you! However, there are many women who have irregular cycles and may end up having their period on the wedding day! Even if you are regular, you may start your period earlier or later than usual due to all the stress and thus its best to be prepared for Aunt Flo!

Prevention is always better than cure! So dear ladies, take note and spread the good word! Check with your gynaecologist if you suspect a visit from the ovary monster on your wedding day. If you have already started, you can always ask your doctor to prescribe a pill which would ease the pain so you can go about the rituals without fail!

Okay, it may be an old advice but it’s a useful one. After all, you wouldn’t want to be trapped in the loo without one handy, would you? Put a set of napkins in your bag, trousseau and even your honeymoon travel bag if you are leaving immediately. Better be safe than sorry!

It’s best to confide in a few of your close friends so they can keep an eye on your outfit and stay nearby in case you need something urgently – like a napkin or may be a dark chocolate? And of course, you have to tell your fiancé, you ARE going to marry him!
