Desserts are the highlight of any wedding menu! At least, they are to me; especially now that wedding desserts have come a long way from Gulab Jamuns with vanilla ice cream. You want to be serving stuff that’ll make your guests feel like one of the best things they did was coming to your wedding. (Yes, food is that important. I can think of a few weddings where I want to travel back in time just to eat that biryani again.)
So yeah, don’t wanna blend with the crowd and have the usual sweet stuff served? Well, you’ve found the right page then. This list is going to help you pick out the perfect dessert menu for your upcoming fancy-ass winter wedding.

CHOCO LAVA CAKE
Chocolate is ALWAYS the right option. Nobody hates chocolate! Think about your spoon cracking the delicate surface of the chocolate layer and then hitting a pool of super-yummy, molten dark chocolate. And then putting that bitter-sweet awesomeness in your mouth and sighing as you literally feel your taste buds orgasm.
Sounds amazing, doesn’t it.
MINI PIES !
Best part about pie is you have ton of options to pick from. You could even lay out an assorted set of pies. Apple pie, banana cream pie and blueberry pie are some good sweet options. For savoury, try out mince, chicken pot pie or shepherd’s pie. These could double up as appetizers as well.
PAYASAM
Okay, let’s embrace our Indian roots. Payasam is basically the South Indian equivalent of kheer. It is regarded as timeless and uses traditional ingredients like jaggery in place of sugar and coconut milk in place of dairy milk which adds a nice touch of good ol’ Indian heritage to your dessert platter. To be served hot!
Your impeccable taste will sure go a long way on your wedding day. Way to please your new in-laws. 😉

MARSHMALLOWS DIPPED IN HOT CHOCCOLATE FUDGE
Again, chocolate shouldn’t be questioned. Ever.
Just imagine biting into a soft, fluffy marshmallow coated with thick, delicious chocolate and reaching heaven once the flavour hits your tongue. Ommmggg. <3
Yeah, I have a thing for chocolate. But so does everybody. That’s why this should serve as a nice, fun dessert at your winter wedding bash. =)
GAJAR KA HALWA
Another Indian delicacy! Pair this North Indian dessert with a portion of vanilla ice-cream and you have the perfect combination of hot and cool. Everything needs balance, and the taste of these two together, only proves it further.

GINGERBREAD CAKE WITH CARAMEL SAUCE
Ginger adds a nice warm touch to everything. That and some hot, yummy caramel sauce? Sounds perfect! For those who love soft cake with warm, gooey sauce melting in your mouth, this one’s the right choice.
