1.Quibble island, Tamil Nadu

Attractions: Churches and architecture
Best time to visit: April to June and September to November
How to reach: It will take you forty minutes to reach Adyar from Central Chennai. Thereafter, you could take a ferry to the island.
2. Umananda island, Andaman

A small island in Assam, this island is a rather unconventional honeymoon destination for couples who are keen on exploring some unseen spots.

How to reach: You can take a ferry from Guwahati
3. Netrani island, Karnataka

How to reach: You could fly down to Kochi and then take a ferry or flight, further to Lakshadweep.
6. Hope island. Andhra Pradesh
A small tadpole-shaped island off the coast of Kakinada, it is known for its biodiversity. You could explore the species of plants and animals and soak in the view of the bay.

How to reach: It is around 36kms from the Rajamundhry Airport
7. Pamban island, Tamil Nadu

How to reach: You could take a ferry ride to Rameshwaram or even a ferry.
8. Majuli island, Assam

One of the most unique islands in India, this is the biggest river island in the world! An unconventional spot, where you can get the flavour of Assamese culture to a whole new level. Enjoy traditional north eastern cuisine and don’t get paranoid if you find moss in place of sand on these beaches.

How to reach: You could fly down to Jorhat, which is just 20 minutes from your destination and then take a ferry to the island.
9. Diu island

How to reach: You could take a flight to Mumbai or a train to Una. However, keep in mind that Diu doesn’t have a railway station.
10. Havelock island, Andaman

Attractions: Elephant beach and Radhanagar beach. You could also enjoy scuba diving at this amazing island.
Best time to visit: February to June
How to reach: The best way to reach here is to take a ferry from Port Blair.
