Aashna and Bhisham recently tied the knot in an absolutely ethereal wedding ceremony held at Karma Lakelands, Gurgaon. From the decor to the trousseau, everything added a hint of charm to the entire wedding ceremony. The 300-acre resort of Karma Lakelands provided the couple with gorgeous scenic locations for the wedding of their dreams!

The Couple

Aashna and Bhisham met each other at a friend’s pre-wedding shoot. Initially, she thought that Bhisham was the groom himself. But when the clouds of confusion parted, she decided and called her friend giving her the good news that Bhisham is the person that she would be marrying someday! It was one of those love stories, where the girl, yes the girl fell in love with the groom at first sight and made the first move! Aashna made a couple of trips to Mumbai, where Bhisham was originally from and eventually they both fell in love with each other!

The proposal

In the bride’s own words- Set in Philippines El Nido, one of the most beautiful islands in the world with a table set in water, a three-course meal, a butler and a musician along a fire walk especially made to carve the path to our table. It was supposed to be done privately but with all the décor people got excited and waited long after the sunset to see it unfold. So now we had about 100 spectators waiting to cheer him on to take the big step. And it was like a dream come true!

The Wedding Planning Process

Vendors were carefully selected keeping in mind that apart from the family and friends, the couple would be spending a lot of time with them, so the vendors should be able to maintain a friendly relation with them. Someone with whom their wavelengths easily matched!

The venue of Karma Lakelands was suggested because the bride wanted to get married in that very golf-course, under the tree, which her father planted a few years back! Nostalgic, isn’t it?

The entire wedding was like a dream and the out-of-a-fairytale couple looked ravishing in their wedding outfits! We wish them a lifetime of success and happiness!
