Colourful, Dreamy Wedding held at Garcia Banquet, YMCA International, Ahemdabad

Thank God for Coffee meets Bagel! Yes, that’s right. Divya and Shashwat met on a dating site. Who would’ve thought?! The two didn’t take long to fall in love and soon enough, Divya found herself in Navy Pier, Chicago saying yes to Mr. Right. Way to go, Internet. Divya and Shashwat had the wedding of their dreams at Garcia banquet, YMCA International, Ahmedabad.  With as much love in the air as you can imagine, it was a colourfully vibrant affair that took our breath away! The moment we set our eyes on the folder that contained some beautiful, beautiful moments captured by the ace photographers at Team Varun’s Click, we knew we’d be going next-next-next on this album for a long time.

All through the wedding celebrations at Garcia banquet, YMCA, Ahmedabad the lovebirds, Divya and Shashwat were seen smiling and living up every moment of the most cherished days of their lives. With flowers in every colour, some quirky masquerade décor and even a majestic, white grand piano, we found the venue simply exquisite. 
As beautifully decorated as it was, Garcia banquet, YMCA, Ahmedabad proved to be the perfect place for this newly-wed couple to start their new journey as man and wife. 

The Mehndi

Lavender rickshaw strung with marigold, ethnic bangles studded with crystals as mehndi favors and this ever-smiling bride! Shashwat and Divya’s mehndi kicked off their wedding celebrations at the YMCA International, Ahemdabad in the best way possible! Taking cues from in-vogue wedding trends, their event planners Euphoric Events along with wedding decorators Poojan Decorators from Ahemdabad whipped up a storm with their entire mehndi set up.

The Sangeet

Although the Mehndi and Sangeet ceremony was combined, this gorgeous bride was seen sporting an equally gorgeous mint blue and pink lehenga-choli draped in a Gujrati style. A stage lit up with multi-coloured lights, masquerade masks as props for their guests and Garcia Banquet, YMCA, Ahemdabad beautifully lit up in tones of pink and purple – Loads of bollywood inspired dances, sweet words and a twirling bride were witnessed at this jazzed up sangeet ceremony. 

The Wedding

An unusually embroidered bridal lehenga that took our breath away, a wedding mandap so grand and an extra quirky groom – Shashwat and Divya had a wedding ceremony with all the right amount of happiness, love and laughter. A beautifully peach and white draped wedding mandap was set indoors at Garcia Banquet, YMCA International, Ahmedabad and was brightened up with pretty yellow toned lights and fresh flowers. Our favourite bits from this wedding ceremony were the groom’s extra charged-up baarat photos and the super fun photos with the bride and her girls!

The Reception

Ever heard of the old wedding saying “Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”? Well this wedding affair was AAALL things blue. Shashwat and Divya has an all aqua blue wedding reception. Everything from the chivari chairs to the brides outfit too was matched to this theme! Like we always say – You can never go wrong with colour coordination! The extravagant table settings, the pure white grand piano and those candid kisses of the bride and groom is something you just cannot miss at their wedding!
