From a tent mandap with floral chandeliers to a bride in Benarasi Lehenga – this wedding was totally off-beat!

From a tent mandap with floral chandeliers to a bride in Benarasi Lehenga – this wedding was totally off-beat!

I love unique wedding trends which set a whole new benchmark for weddings. Something that stands out from a thousand same-old same-old wedding decor and makes the whole ceremony look different

More personal. More offbeat. And most importantly more beautiful!

One such wedding is that of this punjabi bride and South Indian couple – Tanvi & Ashrith. From totally offbeat decor trends to a bride in a never-seen-before banarasi wedding lehenga, this wedding literally had it all, clicked beautifully by Cinnamon Pictures. Have a look:

The mandap:

The mandap by  Poonam Mayank Sharma was literally the most unique and offbeat things about this wedding. It’s a tent mandap, made of this huge pastel pink cloth and surrounded by peach and white floral strings, hung in a chandelier style from the tree top creating a visual symmetry around the mandap . How cool is that?

If you are having an outdoor wedding, this mandap is definitely recommended. Also, because it’s completely DIY-able too!

The seating arrangement:

This seating arrangement is a complete balance of elegance and nature blended in. Totally love the use of jute cloths and raw wood in the whole decor.

The centerpiece was a raw wood sculpture with fresh roses in it.

The phoolon ki chadar:

Loving this phoolon ki chaadar where-in the roses matched all the other elements in the decor and the bride’s lehenga too.

The bride’s banarasi lehenga:

It is not everyday that you see a bride opting for a Raw Mango Benarasi lehenga for her wedding, and when you do, you take notice. I literally can’t take my eyes off this pink lehenga skirt paired with a pastel blue choli and a pastel blue sheer dupatta.

She completed the look with minimal jewelry – a statement matha patti, an oversized nath, and a layered emerald and diamond necklace.

P.S. loving those roses in her bun matching her lehenga skirt!

Some cute moments from the wedding:

The look on the his face, when he sees her walking down the aisle:

The fun jaimala moment:

Happily married under a thousand flowers:
