It’s celebration time once again at the Ambani household. Isha Ambani and Anand Piramal are officially getting engaged in Italy tomorrow! Yes you read it right people, TOMORROW! And it comes as no surprise that the Ambanis are making sure it is an affair to remember! The engagement festivities that are said to kick off in Lake Como, Italy – will begin at September 21 and will go on till September 23. A 3 day engagement? Well, when you are Isha Ambani, that’s how it goes!

A couple of months ago, Anand Piramal popped ‘The Question’ to Isha Ambani at a temple in Mahabaleshwar, Maharashtra and she said YES in a heartbeat. They then had a very private affair at home to celebrate the same and it was attended the biggest names in the industry.

When is the engagement:

Isha and Anand are getting officially engaged over a three-day festival over the weekend. The engagement ceremonies begin on September 21, Friday, and end with a farewell lunch on Sunday, September 23.

Where is the engagement:

Mukesh Ambani and Nita Ambani are hosting a lavish three-day engagement party for daughter Isha and Anand Piramal in Lake Como, Italy. YES the same place where #DeepVeer are getting hitched. 

There are various events slotted for the weekend, from welcome lunches to dinners and dances.

The itinerary:

September 21: Welcome lunch

The lunch is titled ‘Benvenuti A Como’ – Welcome to Como which will be held at the guest’s respective hotels

The celebratory dinner, ‘Amore E Bellezza’ translates in English to ‘Love and Beauty’, which is slotted 5pm onwards at Villa Balbiano in Lake Como.

Dress code:

For the welcome lunch, guests are to be dressed in casual chic. The celebratory dinner in the evening will be a ‘black-tie’ event. Indian formal is also an accepted dress code for the evening.

September 22: Italian Fiesta

The first event is titled ‘Fiera Bella Italia’; in English, that is ‘Beautiful Fair Italy’ at the Villa Gastel. This is also the official engagement event.

The dinner and dance in the evening is titles ‘Italianissimo’; in English, that is ‘Truly Italian’ at Villa Olmo.

Dress Code:

The Ambanis’ ‘Italian Fiesta’ in the afternoon will have guests in ‘Como Chic’. For the dinner and dance in the evening, guests are to be dressed in cocktail attire.

September 23: Farewell lunch:

– Ambanis’ farewell lunch is titled ‘Arrivederci Como’ that translates to ‘Good bye Como’ which will be held at Duomo di Como & Teatro Sociale Como.

Dress Code:

For the farewell lunch on Sunday, guests are to follow a smart casual dress code.
