Harsh & Mahima Chandigarh : Photographers Mahima Bhatia and Harsh’s wedding is the cutest thing we’ve come across!

What happens when two well acclaimed wedding photographers get married? Your expectations soar and you look forward to some of the best wedding photographs. Needless to say, we were over the moon when we came across famous photographers Mahima and Harsh’s wedding! The cutie bride managed everything all by herself! Scroll down to read how she did it all!

The Love Story

Mahima and Harsh met each other through common friends in 2005-6. They dated other people for a while until Harsh asked her out in 2011. Mahima first declined thinking they are only friends, but Harsh finally came out of the friendzone when Mahima realised she has feelings for him! What followed is a beautiful Tom-Jerry relationship which now is solidified forever! Mahima says, “We are and have always been stark opposites in most things like lifestyle habits  our attitudes. But we both wanted similar things for our future. We balanced each other’s energy.” It’s true when they say “opposites attract!”

The Wedding Festivities

The couple wanted a year to plan their wedding but due to work commitments got only 6 months. Infact, Harsh got leaves only a week before the wedding! Mahima maintained notes and planned everything to a T by herself. Her planners helped her out and kept her OCD in check! According to her, there is a thing as too much perfection and it’s not good!

The Cocktail Party

The wedding festivities started with a mehendi cum cocktail party. Mahima aimed for a rustic Indo-western decor. The decor was colourful with small kettles carefully placed everywhere. Pinwheels were placed inside the kettles to give it a more rustic look. The night was full of dancing and games and at one point the groom was thrown into the pool!

The Haldi Ceremony

The haldi ceremony was a simple affair. Colourful decor, drapes, parrots and muda adorned the venue. Mahima wore a yellow and pink saree for the occasion while Harsh wore a yellow kurta with a multicoloured Nehru jacket.

The Wedding

The couple had a boho, pastel-y look for their wedding day. They stuck to pastel shades for their ensembles. Mahima looked beautiful as ever in a blush pink lehenga for the ceremony. Harsh’s ivory sherwani and pink shawl complimented her look well! Usually a couple has one, maximum two photographers. But not Mahima and Harsh! Their photographers were namely, Twogether Studios , Arjun’s Tryst with the Camera, Prism Lens, Wedding Conteurs, Karan Sidhu, Mahima Bhatia Photography, Dhanika Choksi, Photo Tantra and Ramit Batra! Their official photographer was Nikhil Shastri.
