Marc & Meghana Mumbai : A Cross-Cultural Wedding Celebration
A cross-cultural love affair done keeping in mind every aspect of a traditional wedding – the attires, the jewellery, the décor all spoke of the true essence of South-Indian marriages.
Celebrations began with the mehendi ceremony for which Meghana donned a mix-matched lehenga-choli in hues of yellow, pink and blue. Her two-toned cotton saree for the haldi ceremony too was absolutely elegant. It perfectly complemented the yellow and orange marigold flowers decorated beautifully all around.
Their wedding was held in a purple-hued outdoor space decorated with an abundance of fresh flowers and lush green ferns. Meghana made a stunning bride in her red and yellow pure kanjivaram silk saree and opted to wear minimal gold jewellery. Marc looked like a quintessential Indian groom in his navy blue sherwani and crushed white dushala. Together, these two took part in every traditional marriage ritual, including the fun ring-finding ceremony – their excitement can be felt through each of the pictures.
They showed off their classy sides at the reception ceremony, for which Marc looked dapper in his carbon black tux, while Meghana wore a blue and green dhoop-chhaon saree – these two looked like the perfect Indo-Western couple. Girl In Pink Photography shot their wedding with sheer precision and focus – capturing the sweetest moments, excellently!
