Manu & Nishita Jalandhar : This shaadi saw a romantic pre-wedding shoot, intimate mehendi and understated wedding ceremony!
Minimalistic decor, elegant outfits and intimate wedding ceremonies- this wedding is major inspo for an understated yet classy affair.
About the couple..
It started off as a typical arranged marriage setup. Nishita and Manu were introduced to one another through common relatives. At that time Nishita was studying dentistry in India, while Manu was working in Oman.
What started off with chats over the phone gradually converted into liking and before they knew it, both of them had grown fond of each other.
After a month, they decided to meet for the first time in Chandigarh. Just as they came across one another, they instantly felt a certain liking and deep down they both had decided that they were meant to be together. Although Nishita was a bit jittery about the whole thing, it was Manu’s strong belief which actually made it happen!
The Wedding Festivities..
Nishita and Manu had their roka ceremony last year in November. They shocked everyone with their decision of tying the knot as early as in February this year. This decision led to an instant flurry of activities and Nishita knew the wedding planning process wasn’t going to be a cake walk. Even though there was a shortage of time, they made sure to pull off their wedding in style!
Pre-wedding shoot
The bride and groom had quite an interesting pre-wedding shoot in terms of the location and the different outfits they had donned. In every picture, the bride looks stunning in her elegant gowns and dresses, while the groom looks debonair in his crisp choice of tuxedos and suits.
Mehendi and Haldi
The mehendi was a rather intimate affair with close friends and family. For the mehendi, the bride adorned a green embroidered gown and flaunted some beautiful, intricate mehendi designs. The haldi ceremony was all about having a gala time. The bride was seen wearing a yellow and rani pink vibrant lehenga paired with floral jewellery.
Sangeet and Wedding
The sangeet ceremony was filled with a lot of dhamakedaar performances and the bride and groom set the stage on fire! The bride wore a bright pista green lehenga, while the groom wore a white kurta chudidaar, paired with a powder blue nehru jacket with bold floral prints.
The wedding saw minimalistic decor and the couple was dressed in traditional outfits. Nishita wore a gorgeous red lehenga, paired with classic jewellery and oversized gold kaleeras. Manu wore a dapper golden sherwani and complemented Nishita extremely well.
