Karan & Rhea Mumbai : A dreamy wedding for this adorable couple in the city of dreams!

“Shakespeare once said: “love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind.” I think that describes perfectly what I felt when I first met Rhea,” gushes the ecstatic groom. “I fell in love with her kind, compassionate and loving mind” exclaimed a supremely happy Karan. 

Swaying to the soothing melody of a violin, Rhea and Karan’s pre wedding shoot was as much fun for the couple. What better way to kick-start your wedding festivities than on a yacht? 

Haldi, Mehendi & Sangeet
The couple decided to tie the knot in a surreal wedding ceremony at the prestigious Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai. The celebrations began with the traditional Haldi ceremony where friends and family applied turmeric paste on the bride and groom. 

This was followed by the Mehendi ceremony for which Rhea wore a grey, silver and ivory lehenga and paired it with a delicate jewellery set featuring polki stones, kundans and rice pearls. Her hair, tied up in a fishtail braid, adorned with petals that complimented her outfit. Karan went for white kurta and churidar, and brought in a hint of colour with his powder blue Nehru jacket. 

For the Sangeet in the evening, Rhea wore a Disha Patil creation – silver lehenga with cold shoulder sleeves. She paired it with a matching silver jewellery set. Karan totally complimented her look by going for a velvet bandhgala with embroidered leaf motifs. 

Wedding & Reception
Dressed in an intricate pastel outfit and handcrafted jewellery, the bride looked nothing short of royalty in her pastel wedding ensemble by Manish  Malhotra. Karan went for the classic white sherwani. 

For the final event of their wedding celebrations, Rhea chose a full-sleeved white and silver number while Karan chose a blue suit. They even took the stage and danced their first dance as an officially married couple.

Every function entailed elegant floral decor, a gorgeous palatial backdrop and lots of love and laughter from the families.
