Yash & Ritika Delhi : Colourful decor, adorable couple and lots of fun – a magical wedding indeed!

How They Met
What was meant for as a meeting to reject each other ended up being a long conversation between two old friends meeting after a really long time. Both of them were initially against the idea of arranged marriage but there was just some sort of connection when they met that convinced them to go on with whatever was in store!
The Wedding Celebrations
Ritika and Yash’s magical wedding wedding celebrations began with a vivacious and vibrant Mehendi ceremony. A vibrantly-decorated hand-drawn rickshaw made its appearance at the entrance and entire seating area had parasols and genda phool torans hung up. Ritika wore an aqua crop top and paired it with a pink and orange lehenga skirt. On the other hand, Yash went for an olive green kurta, white churidars with a cream Nehru jacket.
What followed was a jam-packed night with incredible dance performances by friends and family, the bride and groom exchanging rings and everyone mingling with one another at the Engagement-cum-Sangeet ceremony. Ritika and Yash wore complementing navy outfits and even performed for their loved ones!
Next morning, they woke up to get ready for their combined Haldi ceremony. The couple were a vision in yellow, and Ritika accessorised her saree with pink floral jewellery. Like all their other ceremonies, the Haldi ceremony was loads of fun with everyone present.
For the wedding, Ritika wore her mother’s wedding lehenga which was an incredibly sweet gesture. Her jewellery was traditional and the emerald details added a lovely touch of contrast to the red bridal lehenga. The wedding ceremony was so beautiful with all the friends and family of the couple there to witness all the rituals and customs take place as bride and groom promise to be together for the rest of their lives.
About the Photographer
“It was the best decision we made hiring That Big Day for our wedding functions. They captured all the moments perfectly. They were not only fun to work with but also very accommodating with a perfectionist bride like me. Not once did I get an opportunity to complain. Their eye for details and compositions were just brilliant. It was very hard to shortlist a few best since 90% of what they shot was superb. Prabal did wonders with the wedding film. From song selection to chosen video clips, everything was more than upto mark. Loved working with you guys and thanks a lot for taking us as your client!” – Ritika, bride
