Gaurav & Shreyasi Neemrana : This adorable couple’s Rajasthani Carnival wedding is giving us major goals!
Shreyasi and Gaurav got hitched in a dreamy wedding at Neemrana Fort, Rajasthan. The fort’s history-rich heritage and medieval vibes make it a perfect spot for a destination wedding! With an old-world charm, this place is a major inspiration for the to-be-couples!
The Seal-the-deal Moment
“There’s no particular moment that can be singled out to take the decision. But when I was departing from the Phoenix Airport, after spending two days with Shreyasi and I was waiting for my flight to take off I started missing our time together and that was my seal-the-deal moment.” – Said the groom.
“I always knew that he is the one for me. It wasn’t tough to take this decision, given how organically and easily things went between us.” – Said the bride.
The Wedding Festivities
“If it wasn’t for our experienced siblings, it wouldn’t have been possible. Shreyasi and I being the youngest in our respective families, our siblings (especially Vandana and Parul) helped us with their experience in wedding planning.” – said the groom.
It’s rightly said that the world is a small place and AA flights made it easier for them. A few shopping trips, constant communication, and gazillion phone calls did the trick for them this couple.
Engagement and Sangeet
Well, engagement and sangeet are events to showcase your dancing skills and your inner Bollywood moves. For an SRK fan like Gaurav, it was THE EVENT. The couple danced to le gayi le gayi from SRK’s Dil Toh Pagal Hai. He wore a bandh gala and kurta while the bride wore a beautiful lehenga with zardozi work.
Haldi
The couple had an authentic Rajasthani theme for their Haldi ceremony. All the ladies wore beautiful gota jewellery and leheriya sarees, and dresses. This Hadli ceremony gave us major Rajasthani vibes and we loved it!
Mehendi
A mehendi ceremony calls for a pool party! The couple’s mehendi ceremony was an afternoon pool party at Atrio, Delhi. It’s not every day that you have a dreamy mehendi ceremony that you have always wanted. So, the couple decided on a Rajasthani carnival themed ceremony with various stalls for Mehendi, bangles, floral jewellery and more.
Special sighting: A Mehendi themed cake!

They had a daytime wedding and the bride chose to wear a pretty yellow Banarasi saree with a pink brocade border, while the groom wore a white kurta. Their pheras took place in the amphitheater area decorated with flowers and drapes.
