So keep your stress away, and scroll down to see Weddingz.in exclusive picks for your sangeet, mehendi, wedding and reception from Chamee and Palak, all photographer by our ace photographer – Anoop Padalkar.
Why Chamee and Palak?
Chamee and Palak’s designs instantly caught our attention as they have some of the most gorgeous and trending bridal wear in the city. Their collections specialise in bridal and trousseau wear for today’s bride, as the designs incorporate the perfect blend of modern elements with traditional values. Their designs play around with different elements, resulting in beautifully detailed bridal fashion for every bride out there!
Our pick for Mehndi:
Mehndi is one function where you want your outfit to let you breathe, isn’t it? From sitting for long hours to get the henna on your hands, to being able to freely dance & have fun the whole day, your outfit should
be comfortable & gorgeous at the same time!
For the bride:
Keeping all of the above in mind, we picked this light-weight lehenga comprising of a fuschia pink blouse and floral embroidered skirt.
We completed the mehndi look with some floral jewelry consisting of a stunning bracelet and hair-clip by Floral Art by Srishti.
We loved the pastels cycle decor done up by our favourite Floral Art by Srishti, check it out –
For her makeup, we decided to keep a very natural look since mehendi is mostly a day affair! Check out our pro Makeup Artist – Makeup By Renuka Shetty at her best –
For the sister :
For the bride’s sister we picked this pastel green lehenga skirt paired with a pastel pink embellished bodice. We loved the sheer pastel pink shrug adding the much-needed drama to the whole look!
Love this one with the duo – Chamee & Palak themselves –
Our pick for Sangeet:
The sangeet night is one evening where you can just let your hair down, & dance your musical night away. You are expected to bring your A-game when it comes to fashion though!
For the bride:
Keeping that in mind, we picked this gorgeous royal blue gown for the bride-to-be! We love this design as it’s got the modern-day diva vibe to it, with an ethnic touch to it. We paired it with some beautiful silver jewellery from Atlas Jewellery complemented with nude lips & dark eyes.
For the sister:
Greyish blue is one of the hottest colours this wedding season and thus we have picked this fabulous gown in the same colour for the bride’s sister. Don’t you love the golden embellishments on it? We couldn’t take our eyes off it too!
Our pick for Wedding:
Obviously your wedding lehenga is the most important bridal outfit & keeping this in mind, we chose two completely different wedding looks for you to choose from-
Look 1:
For the Bride:
The first is a full blown traditional look comprising of a floral embroidered lehenga skirt paired with an embellished blouse and sheer dupatta with floral border.
The look is completed with a diamond choker and bracelet in order to not go overboard with the entire look.
For her makeup, we opted for a natural day makeup, golden smokey eyes, a ravishing red on the lips, small bindi and messy bun with real flowers!
For the sister:
For the bride’s sister we picked this uber-chic pastel lehenga. It comprises of a pastel blue skirt paired with a heavily embellished bodice. Also, don’t you love those tassels in the bodice? We say it’s just stunning!
Look 2:
For the Bride:
The second wedding look is for the quintessential modern bride of today. We couldn’t take our eyes of this pastel pink lehenga comprising of an embellished skirt paired with a noodle strap bodice with a sweetheart neckline.
Also, how pretty are these pastel frames & hangings? Perfect for your sangeet & wedding day decor – all from Floral Art by Srishti
For her makeup, we went ahead with golden smokey eyes, dark plum lips, small bindi and messy bun with real flowers complementing her lehenga color.
For the sister:
For the bride’s sister we have picked this pink number which is a total #BridesmaidGoal worthy lehenga!
Our pick for Reception:
For the Bride:
This bluish-grey number with an off-shoulder choli paired with a high waisted lehenga skirt adds a edgy twist to the reception lehenga.
This Chamee and Palak creation, brought to life with tassels on the arms will make the bride look like a sparkly modern day princess at her reception.
For her maekup, we opted for a party night makeup with gorgeous smokey eyes, prominent brows, dark lips and dramatic curls for the hair.
