So India Couture Week concluded a month ago and Lakme Fashion week ended just a week back. What does that tell us? That we now know what’s hot and happening in the fashion world!

Seeing as we are a wedding blog, we picked up all the gorgeousness we saw in bridal fashion. And one cool trend really stood out to us – Corset Lehengas!

What are corset lehengas?

Well, lehengas with corset-styled blouses, duh. The lehengas are paired with extremely fitted blouses with a corset-style neckline and silhouette. The blend of Indian embellishment along with silhouettes inspired by the Victorian era of the west makes these outfits simply stunning.

We noticed that the country’s top designers incorporated these corsets in a number of their latest designs. Right from Manish Malhotra to Masaba Gupta to Monika Nidhii, the designs are not just restricted to lehengas but also sarees and gowns!
