Danish & Farhat Mumbai : An Elegant Walima held at Dheeraj Heritage Garden, Mumbai

The Arabic word Walima is derived from the root word Walam, which means to gather and assemble. It was usually used for a meal or feast where people were invited and gathered together in celebration. Later, the term started being used for wedding banquets too, and Farhat and Danish’s Walima was just that. A gathering of friends, family and loved ones in celebration of this beautiful couple’s Nikaah.

This stunning couple was dressed to the nines for their Walima ceremony. Farhat wore a rani pink floral stone embedded saree, which was gorgeously embellished with crystals and floral buttis. She accessorized her look with a matching set of bangles, a dainty maangtikka and an oversized nath.  Danish wore a sharp black three piece wedding suit and paired it with a white tux shirt and red pocket square. Every aspect of this Walima ceremony was done just perfectly, especially the simple white and blue drape back drop that had us stunned!
