Niraj & Heena Ahmedabad : The love story of a couple where a cup of tea sealed the deal!

How They Met
Their parents arranged for them to meet but even after 2-3 meeting they were not completely sure. But they secretly started seeing each other and this went on for almost two years before they finally decided to tie the knot. One adorable thing about the couple is that Heena loves chai and Niraj was exceptionally good at making chai! In short, the love of chai bought the couple together 😉

The Proposal 
Sometimes, destiny has a way of figuring itself out. Heena and Niraj were on the brink of parting ways when one day, Niraj called Heena and told her to come below her office building. As they sat down in the car, Niraj blurted out – “I want to marry you. I can’t think of losing you.” And then the rest is history…

Wedding Planning
Niraj’s roots are from Ahmedabad so the couple decided to tie the knot in the city. The entire wedding planning process was overwhelming and tiring but for Heena, her siblings were a great support system. Her 17-year-old brother basically managed everything – from arrangements to the guest list. No wedding planners were hired for the wedding and the couple along with their families took up the different responsibilities. 

Wedding Ceremonies
Heena and Niraj kick-started their wedding celebrations with an intimate Mehendi ceremony, followed by a super-fun brunch party by the pool for all their friends and family. 

At the Sangeet ceremony, Heena’s sister recited a heartwarming poem which made almost everyone in the room teary-eyed and emotional. The high-level energy was brought back when the bride, groom and friends and family danced their hearts out. 

For the wedding ceremony, Heena went for the classic red lehenga while Niraj chose a white sherwani with intricate golden thread work. For the pheras, Heena recorded a beautiful poem that played in the background as the couple walked around the fire. 

Their wedding celebrations had the perfect ending with a grand Reception ceremony. Heena wore a stunning pouffy white gown while Niraj looked dapper in a black tuxedo. The stage backdrop was decorated with white roses with their initials coloured in red roses.
