Saurabh & Khushboo Siliguri : Picturesque settings and adorable dogs- This wedding is nothing short of a pet lover’s delight!

Cute and furry doggos as guests, picturesque settings, enviable floral decor and stunning outfits- well-known photographer, Saurabh Rungta, got hitched in style!!

About the couple –

Smitten by his unconventional-style, wit and humour, Khushboo fell head over heels for Saurabh at the very first moment she caught a glimpse of him.

The second their eyes met at their workplace, she somehow knew he was the one she wanted to marry. She felt a strange connection, a spark that she could not probably define. This spark made her decision stronger and she felt she needs to pursue this. Khushboo started searching for ways to spend more time with him, converse more, in order to get to know him better and more closely.

One night, they sat chatting and the conversation continued for longer than they had imagined. They knew there was something between them. Before she met Saurabh, Khushboo wasn’t in any hurry to get hitched to anyone, but with him coming into her life, her decision changed overnight. She was smitten by him. They started spending almost 18 hours a day with each other, without getting bored. They clearly enjoyed each other’s presence and nothing else mattered to them when they were together. It was magical!

“He’s added a whole lot of meaning to my existence and I can’t thank God enough for showering me with his love! I’ve been really lucky to have found my match in him and I’m so proud of it. I would do anything to keep him happy!”

Very quickly the two had realized that they were perfect for each other and that they couldn’t imagine spending their life with anyone else. This was it!!

The Wedding celebrations –

This adorable couple had certain prerequisites when it came to choosing a suitable spot for their wedding. Being the dog lovers that they are, they decided to choose a venue that would allow their dogs inside.

Secondly, just before the wedding they realized that both their names had the same meaning, fragrance. This Eureka moment urged them to have a floral theme for all their functions.

Lastly, they wanted a private, intimate affair, with limited number of guests, away from the hullabaloo of city life. Kurseong seemed like a perfect destination- flanked by lush greenery, boulevards and a breathtaking view.

Mehendi –

The bride adorned a beautiful light green lehenga repleting with florets. We loved how she accessorized it with some stunning pieces of jewellery like the maangtikka, the choker and earrings. The dulha was seen flaunting a lime green nehru jacket. Rich colourful hues, a Rajasthani touch and quirky elements, made the mehendi look exuberant! A floral, rustic wreath as a backdrop and beautiful traditional hangings, made us fall in love with the decor!

Cocktail –

The bride was wearing a grey maxi dress with simplistic makeup, while the groom was well suited in a black tuxedo.

A function need not necessarily have a whole lot of elements or over-the-top decor to make it stand out. This dazzling cocktail function had minimalistic and modern decor that we are swooning over- dainty white flowers, drapes and fairy lights!

Haldi –

Everything about this function was in different hues of yellow and orange!! Both Khushboo and Saurabh were dressed in simple, traditional clothes.

A marigold backdrop with the couple’s monograms and an informal seating arrangement to make is look more casual- all this lifted the mood at the haldi ceremony! The adorable couple had a gala time smearing haldi over each other, while the guests indulged in giving the couple a flower shower.

Wedding –

The bride looked bedazzling in her grey Sabyasachi lehenga, paired with a gorgeous polki necklace. The groom complemented her well and looked dapper in an offbeat blush pink sherwani.

Set against the picturesque mountains, lush greenery and beautiful boulevards, the wedding was an absolute treat to the eyes!! The informal seating and the picture galleries were super cute and refreshing. The stunning colourful mandap stole the show in terms of the decor. With lush greens, flowers and cascading lights, this mandap is major inspiration for couples-to-be.

The floral theme, the beautiful hues, the enviable decor and of course the adorable dogs, who were a part of every function, made this wedding stand out and is major goals for pet lovers!!
