This Season’s Hottest Bridal Lehengas And Gowns – Lakme Fashion Week W/F 2017 (Day 5)

The final day of Lakme Fashion Week W/F 2017 had the country’s top designers showcasing the latest fashion this season. We rounded up the best bridal wear – lehengas, sarees, cocktail gowns and more. Have a look:

Arpita Mehta

Perfect for the modern, this collection consisted of lehengas with contemporary blouses in the form of bralettes, capes and more brought alive in shades of indigo with pops of bright pink and green florals. Kriti Sanon concluded the range as showstopper.

Ridhi Mehra

Inspired by Islamic domes, this collection featured wedding wear with embellishments and embroideries, focusing on a colour palette of millennial pinks, greys, blacks and bright red.

Shriya Som

This all-white collection by Shriya Som focused on edgy silhouettes with a muted colour palette. Diana Penty looked stunning in a voluminous white gown with all-over embroidery and a unique layered silhouette.

Faabiiana

Dia Mirza played showstopper for this designer in an off-white ensemble with subtle gold work. The line was primarily used soft and delicate colours with lehengas paired with creative, contemporary blouse designs.

Jayanti Reddy

This line focused on traditional silhouettes with various embroideries. Lehengas, sarees, anarkalis and more came to life in a range of colours from mustard yellow to royal blue to bright pink. On the contrary, Aditi Rao Hydari’s showstopper lehenga was in tones of subtle black and beige with gold highlights.

Manish Malhotra

Titled ‘Tales of Indulgence’, Malhotra’s stunning new collection concluded Lakme Fashion Week with stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Aditya Roy Kapoor looking ravishing in his evening wear that was both edgy and elegant at the same time.
