Shaun & Pratishtha Delhi : Two friends who decided to be best friends for life!

How they met
Shaun & Pratishtha are childhood sweethearts. The couple has known each other since they were 12-13 years old. They started off as being the best of friends. Over the years, they got to know each other better and ultimately fell in love. It’s been over a decade and they’re been the rock in each other’s lives. The quote ‘Happiness is being married to your best friend’, stands true for Pratishtha and Shaun.

Wedding Planning
The couple chose not to hire a wedding planner and arranged everything themselves. In fact, Pratishtha, the bride was the one who took charge of the arrangements and bookings. She took advice from her married friends and family members about venues and vendors before finalizing. 

Her mother is a designer herself and has been running a boutique of her own since the last 24 years. Pratishtha and her mother created her wedding outfits from scratch. 

Wedding Ceremonies
Pratishtha and Shaun’s wedding functions spanned over for four days. From Dhol Night to Reception, they had it all!

Dhol night & Sagan
With an array of colours, tassels, jaalis and prints, Pratishtha and Shaun’s Dhol night and sagan was held at Shaun’s residence in Chattarpur. They even had stalls with bangles, bags, juttis and other items for the wedding guests. It was an evening full of dance, love and happiness. 

Ring ceremony & Cocktail
The next day, the couple had organized for the ring ceremony clubbed with the cocktail party. It was a gold white and black themed party full of glitz and glamour. The families celebrated the union of these childhood sweethearts in full spirit. 

Mehendi
The mehendi ceremony’s decor was full of ombre pink and blue vibrant florals. The function was held at their home with only close friends and family in attendance. 

Wedding
The wedding was a pink themed ceremony, held in F&B Flora Farms in Chatterpur. Everyone and everything were in shades of pink – from guests to decor, all of it! The couple tied the knot in a traditional Anand Karaj ceremony.
