Their Story

Priyanka and Neil's gorgeous wedding held in Neemrana Fort Palace is sure to steal your heart and leave you mesmerized. Right from the mehndi on day 1 to the reception, this wedding was all about the love. The team at Fotografia9 shot this celebration with an exceptional eye for detail and flawless talent,  capturing Neil and Priyanka's most special moments for them to cherish forever.

The Mehndi

Bright colors and Mehndi ceremonies go together like Faffda and Jalebi, no kidding; and Priyanka and Neil left no stone unturned in making this ceremony their own kind of special. We love how this gorgeous bride used little elements to personalize her intimate mehndi ceremony by giving away ethnic Rajasthani mini umbrellas and colorful potlis to all her girlfriends. No amount of décor could do justice to this opulent archaic structure, hence all they hung was a beautiful black, navy blue and gold toran fully embellished with beads, mirrors and latkans to add a perfect touch of sparkle to this simple outdoor mehndi ceremony.

What followed was the intimate lunch and some dance practices for the sangeet the next day. Glistening yellow fairy lights illuminated the outdoor space set up with bright, earthy table setting in hues of teal and yellow – an absolutely unusual but BEAUTIFUL combination. Rustic, half-flaked teal chairs with tables covered in yellow cloth was a perfect setting to share a meal with the to-be-weds as the sunset behind them. The bride-to-be matched the setting in her flowy canary yellow anarkali and stunning teal dupatta while Neil kept up with the style factor in his blue and white Kashmiri embroidered kurta.

Pro Tip for the bride – You can never go wrong with your outfit choice when you match it to the theme/setting/color scheme of any ceremony!

The Sangeet

Will it be unfair to say that the mother-of-the-bride stole our hearts with her dance moves and that magnificent lehenga?! Priyanka’s mum AKA Meera Mahadevia, an international luxury bag designer surely set #MotherOfTheBride goals for us in her floral printed lehenga and ethnic polki jewellery. Looking at Priyanka’s gorgeous mum, it was easy to see why Priyanka made such a flawless bride.

There wasn’t a big stage set up or LED lit backdrops, just some twinkling rice lights and little diyas that fenced a pond filled with lotus leaves. Beautiful people dressed in beautiful clothes danced and celebrated as Neil and Priyanka embarked on this new journey together. Loads of thumkas and jhatkas later, the dandiya raas followed. Because, what is a Gujrati wedding celebration without dandiya?! All the aunty-ji’s joined in as well and there was unmatched happiness and fun flowing all around just like the confetti.

The Shaadi

The elements of simplicity were what made this wedding trendsetting. Their breathtaking mandap was setup in the Amphitheatre and adorned with marigolds in hues of yellow and orange with accents of white tuberoses.  Priyanka looked breathtaking in a red and gold Shyamal and Bhumika lehenga with a double draped dupatta. But what absolutely took us by storm were the dense silver payals that elegantly enclasped her ankles. Neil went all classic white in his sherwani and paisley weaved jootis – we adore grooms this stylish and dapper! And it wasn’t just him – Neil’s guy gang were dressed in color coordinated royal blue, red and bronze sherwanis cheering him on as he rode in on a white horse – complete desi style!

The Reception

Fairy lights on trees, gorgeously dressed guests and a couple that looked like descendants of a royal family. Neil’s carbon black tux and Priyanka’s coral and orange floor length gown were perfect choices for a classy, dance-filled open air reception. Both, the mother of the bride as well as the groom were dressed gorgeously, scroll on for some serious inspiration from the mothers of the newlyweds!
