Asad & Taseer Nashik : We have fallen in love with this colour coordinated couple’s Nikah and you will too!
Taseer and Asad got hitched in a beautiful, springtime nikah at the most unconventional venue- the Grape County at Nashik! We LOVE the entire theme, the decor, the blush lehenga and green sherwani, basically everything!
The Bride says..
Well i never thought i would get married to someone i met through a matrimonial column ad in the newspaper. Our families wanted us to get to know each other before they could take things forward…and that’s how Asad and I started talking….two people of very different nature, two different countries, two different time zones and somehow we still managed to make time to talk to each other. Brief phone calls soon turned into video calls that lasted all night long. And the next thing I knew Asad was flying from Chicago to Bombay to meet me (with his mind made up to marry me…which I found out much later). He calls it our arranged love story. We had a very short period of time from the moment we met to the moment we got married. But some things in life are just meant to be.
About the wedding planning..
Being wedding designers ourselves, my sister, Vahi and I have designed, planned and executed every bit of the wedding…right from deciding the colours of the wedding invites, designing the look for the bride, groom and everyone in the family, to the entry of the bride and groom for the Nikah.
We were very clear from the beginning that we wanted the wedding to be simple yet elegant and enjoyable for everyone who was a part of the big day.
About The Wedding Salad..
I Couldn’t have thought of getting married without TWS being on board. They are passionate about their work and we trust them blindly to deliver best results. When I saw the photographs, I could relive every moment of my wedding…and that’s exactly what every bride, groom and their families look forward to.
About the DIY aspect..
For us, everything was personalised – the invites, the decor, the gifts…we have ideated and created everything for the wedding and Vahi supervised every little detail herself while I was busy achieving my bride goals! It was truly a dream wedding. The use of neon sign with our names was something we were very keen on. We had 12 feet long signage specially made in Mumbai and shipped to Nashik for the occasion. I also wanted to gift something personalised to my friends. I got them customised and Asad helped me ship all of those from the US. (Its super cute when your fiancé doesn’t carry his personal stuff in the suitcase but makes sure that he has packed everything his to be wife has asked for!)
