Vishal & Vandana Jaipur : Quirky decor, extravagant outfits and an adorable couple- this wedding had it all!

About the couple

Vandana and Vishal met through mutual friends at a party in Mumbai. Gradually, the two fell in love with each other and then decided to get hitched for life. One thing common between the two is that they believe in making every moment count…

The Proposal

The proposal was super-cute and intimate. Vishal booked a lake-facing restaurant and popped the question with a ring. Vandana said a ‘YES’ and that was the moment when they decided to tie the knot

The Wedding Festivities

Mehendi and Haldi

The bride donned a light orange maxi dress and paired it with floral jewellery in a similar hue. The groom kept it subtle by wearing a white kurta chudidaar teamed up with a yummy powder blue printed jacket.

Elements like rustic painted pots, vibrant tassels and pinwheels gave a mela or fair kind of feel to the entire ceremony!

The Haldi ceremony saw the bride dressed in an ochre-yellow lehenga with floral jewellery made out of marigolds and mogras. The decor consisted of backdrops made out of colourful drapes and extravagant floral arrangements.

Sangeet

This function was filled with loads of fun and the couple set the stage on fire with their dhamakedaar dance performances! Vandana was seen slaying it in a voluminous dark pink gown, paired with a baby pink jacket outlined by gold borders. Vishal, on the other hand wore a royal blue bandhgala jacket with white pants.

Wedding and Reception

For the wedding, Vandana donned a stunning ivory lehenga with gold and cream embellishments. She teamed the lehenga with a sheer apricot dupatta. To add a bit of contrast, she wore her diamond jewellery with emerald drops. Vishal complemented her well donning a light cream coloured sherwani with dull gold embellishments.

The couple entered the reception ceremony a la mode, with their family and friends greeting them with fireworks! Vandana wore a magnanimous dark pink gown with heavy embroidery, while Vishal looked debonair in his crisp black tux.
