Yugesh & Diksha Lonavala : We are swooning over Diksha and Yugesh’s Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani inspired wedding!

The Story

Diksha and Yugesh tied the knot in a traditional wedding ceremony. An intimate affair, floral decor and classy outfits – this wedding is quite a benchmark for the new-age couples.

The Love Story

Just like their intimate yet a grand wedding affair, their love story is also an inspiration for the new-age couple. They dated each other for 11 years. Despite having their ups and downs, the couple stuck around and here they are, married.

These two lovelies met each other in school. Like any other love stories, the couple didn’t really like each other at first, then became friends and finally started dating after exchanging numerous text messages.

Our friends call us #thestoneagecouple. From being real-time high school sweethearts to now being a married couple, it has been a joyous journey of growing up together.” said the overwhelmed bride.

Wedding Festivities

The couple had a beautiful and elegant wedding in Lonavala.

My inspiration was Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani, but honestly I’ve dreamt of getting married since 12 years so everything you see in the picture is a culmination of a big dream wedding being built up all these years.” said the bride.

Mehendi

The bride wore a beautiful red skirt and a gold polka dotted brocade blouse. The decor was made up of vibrant drapes and rose flowers.

Haldi

For her Haldi ceremony, Diksha flaunted a turquoise lehenga with yellow sleeveless blouse paired with a yellow dupatta adorned with turquoise flowers and minimal zardosi work. The groom on the hand complemented her outfit with a matching Nehru jacket. The decor had vibrant drapes and flowers.

Engagement and Sangeet

The Sangeet/engagement was bright and blingy, decorated with fairy lights with a backdrop of floral arrangement.

The bride wore a beautiful peach gown with heavy zardosi work and a net cape while the groom wore a stunning black tuxedo.

Wedding

Inspired by the movie Yeh Jawani Hai Diwani, the wedding was super dreamy and an elegant mandap decorated with flowers. The bride wore a stunning red lehenga and the groom wore a beige sherwani.
